Type 10: Fill in a Table Questions
在表格填写题中，考生会见到一个根据文中信息制作的、并留出部分空白项的表格。考生需要在备选答案中挑出正确选项，并将正确选项拖入表格中的相应位置。
表格题考查考生将文中主要观点和其他重要信息抽象出来并填入表格正确位置的能力。也就是说，考生先要找出并确定文章的要点，然后将其填入正确位置。
和文章总结题一样，要正确解答这类考题，考生必须在头脑里形成一个文章的整体结构框架，并记清文章主要观点和其他重要信息。
要做到这一点就要求考生能够理解文章中各种修辞写作手法的作用，比如原因一结果关系、对照一对比关系、论点和论据关系等。
在头脑中构建文章整体构架时，一定要记住：如果考生要构建一个水平较高的提纲的话，那么文章的主要观点一定要包含其中。正确答案选项通常体现在一个稍微详细的大纲里。相对次要的细节和例子通常不会在这种大纲中出现，因为它们只会被用来支持那些更重要、更高一级的主题。主要观点／重要信息和次要信息的区别也可以被认为是核心和非核心信息的区别。
设有表格题的文章通常有不止一个核心观点，因为此类文章经常包括不止一个观点。表格题典型的文章有以下几种结构类型：对照一对比、问题一解决方法、原因一结果、论点切换（如理论、假设）等等。
正确答案体现了文章的主要观点和重要的支持性信息。通常这些答案不会和文章中具体的某一句话一致，它们更像是基于文中信息或对文中信息的转述而出现的抽象概念。对于那些能够记住或容易判断出相关信息位置的考生来说，正确答案是很容易确定的。
