《朱基讲话实录（英文版）》由朱基本人在中文版四卷348篇120万字的基础上精选出112篇，分为两卷出版，此书为第一卷即1991-1997年的讲话内容。整套《朱基讲话实录（英文版）》选入了朱基从1991年到2003年担任中国国务院副总理和总理期间的讲话、文章、信件、批语等，翔实记录了朱基在中国改革开放和现代化建设中的工作历程。
