这本书质量不错,小巧。Nice。你值得拥有。

Both books say basically the same thing. But The Talent Code is more focused on telling stories and analysing research; The Little Book, with its extremely practical approach, could easily have been an appendix to The Talent Code.

So, if you want guidelines for developing a talent, buy this one. If you want a good, informative read, but which will not be so actionable, buy The Talent Code.,

There are hundreds, no thousands, of new self-help books out there, but most are either notional (based on one person's experience or thoughts that may or may not translate to anyone else), or a complex rendering of a research project (lots of data with a conclusion). This is something different.

Each "Tip" is short and sweet, no more than a paragraph or two, with concrete images that help you understand it. But each tip is the result of intense study on a specific (narrow) topic. The tips are organized in a way that makes it easy to see the progression in building a skill. It is basically written in a style that builds on the performance skills being taught here. Each of these tips really resonate. Looking at my own life, I recognize techniques used by the best of my teachers over the years.

Well researched, well organized, and well written. Highly recommended.

I actually got this book as a hard copy thru school but wanted a digital copy to reference often whenever I needed it. It's that good. I have read a ton of books in this vein but this is actually very useful and not shallow. It makes recommendations that actually work. The author did thorough research, speaking with all types of leaders, performers and coaches in every type of field one could imagine. And the author is clearly passionate about his topic. My girlfriend actually enjoyed me telling her about some of the anecdotes in the book.

I'm excited to start putting some of the tips into practice in the real world, but I'm confident that I will see results.
I'm confident I can take these tips and ideas and make myself better in every aspect of my life from my tennis game to my relationship to working with others in my career and being a true, inspirational leader. Recommend!

Coyle consolidates a wealth of practice/learning/training tips and knowledge into this "little book." He covers an exceptional amount of content in very succinctly. If you are a student of cognitive studies and training breakthrough theories and successful coaching practices, this book will synthesize much of what you've read or learned. If not, it may stimulate you into further investigatory reading.

For anyone in the coaching field or considering coaching, (even the volunteer parent who is the assistant to the assistant head coach) this book should be a standard primer for you. It will help you help your young athletes progress farther and faster.
