This is an excellent book and I would highly recommend it for any mama or mama-to-be.
With two young children, I bought this book looking for a guide for myself and helpful ways to stay on a budget. I loved it. Hoffman's voice is smart, engaging, and hilarious. Her tips are outstanding, and her writing is great.
I have also given it as a gift to a number of my girl friends expecting children, and all have loved it.

Get this book. It's filled with great suggestions and witty observations. It's a great handbook for any parent for sure...and a lot better than the stuff that Sue Orman pushes on people. My Mama wasn't very smart when it came to parenting me or her money. Now we share a double-wide in Fresno California. Do you know what they pay at Denny's? Well let me tell you...it ain't enough. If she had only read THIS book instead of TV Guide I could have growed up to be somebody.
