This is more of a spelling review than a vocabulary book. You're given a list of words for each lesson, which are then plugged into "fill in the blank" sentences and used with writing exercises. IT DOES NOT TEACH YOU THE MEANING OF THE WORDS! Most of the examples aren't even relevant to the words. My son was getting confused trying to complete each lesson BECAUSE HE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THE WORDS MEANT.
Use this with an accompanying dictionary to get the most educational value.
Using it daily. Good vocabulary words for my 4th grader.
