Gross could've added more value for being the bond king. A lot of it was common sense type of information and didn't really delve too much into strategies, but rather an description of various products and their history. I wish Gross provided more substance and advanced analysis.
I also didn't like the format where he began each chapter about a story about his life. Some of them were good but others were filler information in an already short book. I wish he focused more on the investing themes and elaborated about his mistakes and decision making process.
Gross predicted: the future won't be volatile.
Gross advised: stock up on mortgage-backed securities.
Where are the customer's yachts? They're not at the Balboa Yacht Club. Gross' yacht is.

Beware one book two titles "Bill Gross on investing" and "Everything you have heard about investing is wrong"
Otherwise not a bad book but very short and while there is a lot of wisdom in it he does not really explain why he believes certain things.
This is a old book published a while ago. But It is still interested to read. It comes with many truth at the time and remaind so today.
I have to said that I learned a few useful things from it. Learning mostly is an incremetanl process I feel it worth my money and time going through this book.
