为了更好的准备2010年12月四六级考试，读书人编辑整理了一些资料供大家参考：
了解改错
1、题材熟悉 一般选自英美有关科技(以科普为主)、社科、人文方面的 考生略知其内容的原文。议论文为主，很少有描写性质的文学作品。
2、语言规范 无俚语和生僻的行话，很少引用人物对话。
3、难度适中 一般文章长度为200字左右，几乎全部属于大纲规定的初、中级词汇。每一标有题号的行，字数一般不超过10个。词汇量低于试卷其它部分的要求，偶见超纲词但有汉语释意。语言的难度，如语法、句子结构也稍低于试卷其它部分，但错误部分的难度较大。
4、每标题号行有且仅有一处错误，未标题号行无错误
5、无印刷、标点及拼写错误
6、重点明确 三种改错方式，即替换、添加、删除 之中，以替换为主，其出现的频率最高。
7、正确答案一定 是简洁、直接、对应的 也就是说 答案一定是简单明了，直截了当，与错的那个词相对应的。 如：He was hired due to his quarrel with his boss. 通过分析，容易发现 这句话要表达的逻辑含义与hired 所能表达的意思恰恰相反，如果改为dismissed 固然说得通;但fired 一词才来得最直接，对应;其刚好是 hired 对应的反义词，最佳的满足了原句的要求。

71.had---has, 根据全文的时态可以看出此处应该用一般现在时 而非一般过去时，并且本句有明显的时间副词now. 有些同学考虑到前后两句都用了现在完成时，因而在这里也误用了现在完成时has had。其实，在表示‘拥有’之意时，通常只用动词的一般时，而不用完成时。E.g. He has two brothers. (不说He has had two brothers.)
72. directly---indirectly, 根据该句所要表达的逻辑意义，以前人们对宇宙的了解应该是‘间接的’，而不是‘直接的’
73. into---on, 该题在句中的意思是：人类可能在未来的10年中登上别的星球。表示‘登上，在……上着陆’的意思时，动词land后面通常用介词 on. 介词into 的意思是‘进入’，用在本句不妥。也不可以改为to , Land to 这个搭配不存在; onto也是不对的，onto强调的是动作的方向或过程，而本句强调的是动作的结果。
74. too---so, 本句的意思是‘我们会不会如此的勇敢，以至于认为……。’英语中表示‘……到这种程度以至于……’时一般用短语 so……as to……，e.g. Are you so na%26iuml;ve as to believe all he said? 你会天真到这种地步，以至于相信他说的每一句话吗? He walked so far as to get lost in the dark. 他走得很远，以至在黑暗中迷了路。英语中没有 too……as to……这样的搭配，若把too改成了as,英语中同样没有as……as to……这样的搭配。as 和 so 只有在not so ……as和not as ……as这样的搭配中才可以通用。 E.g. this room is not so big as that one. 这房间不如那房间大。也有的同学把other改为了another. 虽然another planet 本身是说的通的，但并没有将真正的错误too 改掉。
75. planet----planets, 代词other 通常与复数名词连用;other只有和定冠词连用时，才有可能用来表示单数，
one……the other 一个另一个，通常是指两件事物或两个人中的另一个。
76. head----mind, keep……in mind 是固定用法，表示‘记住’。
77. little---much, 根据上下文，本句想要表达的意思应该是：我们为什么要在宇宙探索方面花这么多的钱?但这里用了little这个词，显然将意思搞反了。本题其实是比较容易做的，只要想到little的反义词是much就行了。有的同学想得比较远，将little 改成了huge, enormous 等，但 so huge money 或so enormous money这样的搭配是不成立的。
78. Consider----Considering, 本题做在的句子中有两个并列的单句，却明显的没有连接词加以连接，这就需要考虑将其中的一个单句变成分词短语或介词短语，最合适的做法是将动词consider 改成介词considering. 介词considering的意思是‘考虑到’。E.g. He did a good job, considering his age. 就他的年龄而言，他干得很出色。有的同学舍近求远，不考虑现成的consider这个词，而改成了given, facing, judging, taking, viewing 这一类词，虽说有一定的道理，但可惜在上下文的逻辑含义上都欠准确;
79. they 删去， 本题所在的定语从句主语语关系代词重复，二者必须去一。从结构上看，只能去掉重复的主语they, 如果去掉关系代词that, 句子显然就不通了。有的同学将that 改成which, 是因为没有意识到that 和which 在这儿的用法其实是一样的。
80. arriving----arriving at, arrive 是不及物动词。arrive at 是固定搭配, 表示‘得出(结论)，做出(决定)’。
