  V1(BY: Ace17)

V3六个月了,the hot cup cafe has a website, containing a customer feedback page,然后customers可以submit comments. the website address is clearly printed on the each receipt, so it is not difficult for customer to access the feedback page. 然后就说almost all the customers are satisfied with our current products and customer service department, so we don't have make any improvement。

V1: the following is a newsletter from the Director of Mega Burger franchise Store to the Cindy's Sandwich Store:

Mega Burger, which is the largest national chain store, invite Cindy's sandwich store to convert into the Mega Burger store. Such convert can reduce the operation costs. In addition just as people who go to clothing and home-supply store prefer the well known store, so do people who go to restaurant prefer the meal they known

原因有两个,一是开快餐店可以提高operating efficiency, 因为cost of suppliers 比较低还有能 share advertisement expenses,二是现在人们都喜欢有名气的clothing shop, 所以应该也会喜欢restaurants they know what to expect in quality and what's avaible这种类似的东西这句话楼主又没看懂。。。

  (1)gratuitous assumption,不一定加入连锁店就能吸引更多的顾客,可能顾客喜欢三明治店原本的风格,加入连锁店之后反而流失客户;

  (2) one sidedness, 即使有可能有吸引新客户和降低采购成本等优势,同样也有潜在的劣势,比如training员工和重新装修店面的成本上升,老板也可能会失去管理权;

V1.AA: A letter to the shareholders of Fleet Motors: the CEO of Fleet Motors plans to acquire Futra Autos (a falling company) in the country of Galaxia, in order to expand Fleet Motor's international market and he/she believes that the rapidly increasing population in Galaxia will become future customer base of Fleet Motors. In addition, the management of Fleet Motors decides to retain the current workforce of Futra Autos and replace their management by the excellent Fleet Motor's employees.

V2: A要国际化要合并B 因为B给A customer base B可以救A出破产边缘 B可以用新MODEL和自己的管理人员

V3. In a statement issued to its shareholder issued by CEO of Fleet Motors(FM), the statement says that to meet the shareholders’ desire for international market expansion and increase in production capacity in the next decade, FM decides to buy Futura Autos (FA) in Galaxia planet, where FM currently doesn’t have any market presence.

然后说什么increase in population at Galaxia will expand the customer base for FM. FM can also save FA from bankruptcy by discontinue of its production line and manufacturing . FM also will replace the FA marketing and management team by current FM management to ensure a smooth transition.

最大的问题就是时间不够写那么多点,虽然说本身在北美读的high school and university, 最后还是almost run out of time,都没怎么检查…所以建议大家还是plan 好,and pick only a few important points to write.

  2. 攻击expand the customer base for FM, FA与FM的产品不一定匹配

V1(BY: 莎夏蕊) 油价上涨导致P Airline公司profit降低了,与此同时P Airline增加了一些新的airplanes~~~所以油价上涨不是主导原因,新增的airplanes are also responsible, 结论是应该减少这些新的airplanes...

为了improve profit,公司应该eliminate the new flights we added the ealier year.

  1.False analogy :

  2.Either or choice:

  3.All things are equal:

3. charge higher interest rate than before.。

The following appeared as part of a plan proposed by an executive of the Easy Credit Company to the president.

“The Easy Credit Company would gain an advantage over competing credit card services if we were to donate a portion of the proceeds from the use of our cards to a well-known environmental organization in exchange for the use of its symbol or logo on our card. Since a recent poll shows that a large percentage of the public is concerned about environmental issues, this policy would attract new customers, increase use among existing customers, and enable us to charge interest rates that are higher than the lowest ones available.”

  Easy

因为More often,人们可能采取更加直接的方式,比如直接donate money to the environmental organization.

  4., Survey is doubtful:

In this argument the author concludes that the Easy Credit Company would gain several advantages over its competitors by donating a portion of its profits to a well-known environmental organization in exchange for the use of the organization’s logo on their credit card. The author reaches this conclusion on the basis of a recent poll that shows widespread public concern about environmental issues. Among the advantages of this policy, the author foresees an increase in credit card use by existing customers, the ability to charge higher interest rates, and the ability to attract new customers. While the author’s argument has some merit, it suffers from two critical problems.

To begin with, the author assumes that the environmental organization whose logo is sought is concerned with the same environmental issues about which the poll shows widespread concern. However, the author provides no evidence that this is the case. It is possible that very few credit-card users are concerned about the issues that are the organization’s areas of concern; if so, then it is unlikely that the organization’s logo would attract much business for the Easy Credit Company.

Next, the author assumes that the public’s concern about environmental issues will result in its taking steps to do something about the problem—in this case, to use the Easy Credit Company credit card. This assumption is unsupported and runs contrary to experience. Also, it is more reasonable to assume that people who are concerned about a particular cause will choose a more direct means of expressing their concern.

In conclusion, the author’s argument is unconvincing as it stands. To strengthen the argument, the author must show a positive link between the environmental issues about which the public has expressed concern and the issues with which this particular environmental organization is concerned. In addition, the author must provide evidence to support the assumption that concern about a problem will cause people to do something about the problem.

说近期的一个survey表明人们对健康饮食越来越重视,而one way to eat healthier is oganic food,因为oganic food不含添加剂之类的。这个manager说从这个survey可以看出this city is ready to support a organic food grocery(目前还没有)。

V3 People are interested in eating healthier, one way is to eat organic food which is grown without chemical and pesticide. Government is supportive for organic food. One grocery manager is recommending expanding their 3 out of 4 existing store to sell organic food.

A survey of the customers 显示了a high level of interest on eating healthier, 有一种eating healthier 的方式是吃organic food,这种食品没有农药和?(我忘了…)。
