My View on Group Buying
①This year’s China is witnessing a group buying fever. As the name indicates, group buying means a large number of individuals make a purchase together so as to receive a higher discount on the particular item. Customers can not only buy various kinds of goods in this way, but also purchase tickets, coupons and services at lower cost.
②Popular as it is, complaints have been piling up about it, which reveals the problems occurring during the group buying process. ③The first and foremost problem is the fake product, which occurs mostly when buying cosmetics. Many a time did customers feel dismayed at one obviously fake cosmetic which they had expected so much. ④What’s worse, the after-sale service is far from completion and satisfaction. On many occasions, customers are denied access to filing their complaints, let alone asking for a refund.
⑤ My suggestions to deal with these problems are as follows. To begin with, it is urgent to create a national certification system so that only the qualified sellers can engage in the commercial activities. Secondly, all those who sell fake products and make false advertisements should be punished severely. It is not until these two methods are put into practice that group buying will develop on the right track.

Charity brings the society power, arouses people’s enthusiasm for life, and help others to overcome difficulties. However, after several scandals, it has become a trend for the public to criticize and doubt charity organizations or individuals. A case in point is China Red Cross, whose fame was spoiled by Guo Meimei.
It is evident that the causes of this phenomenon are diverse. In the first place, the disordered charity management is the root cause of criticism. Why? Charity organizations in mounting/ large numbers have not come to realize the problems in their management, budget and raising money. In the second place, the lack of public’s trust constitutes another major cause. Based on a survey on the Internet, because of some negative cases, a majority of people admit that they are unwilling to donate or help others through charitable activities or organizations.
As a college student, I am firmly convinced that it is exceedingly necessary for the public to be involved in charity. However, we should advocate and encourage organizations to reform charitable activities.

How to Take Advantage of Reference Books
Nowadays, various kinds of reference books for college students have come into existence. And many students gain so much that they soon find themselves totally relying on these books.
It should be admitted that reference books have brought great convenience to students. And conversely, overeliance on these books has also caused negative effects. Firstly, students who have got reference books are more likely to believe all the contents in the books and neglect teachers instructions. Secondly, with reference books, many students tend to be absent from class and become lazy to think about how to solve problems on their own. Last but not least, there are so many different kinds of reference books that a great number of low quality ones are also among them, which will lead to students confusion.
As a college student, I agree that reference books are of great use in our pursuit of knowledge. However, it is not sensible to rely on them too much. After all, reference books will never replace what we are able to obtain from teachers and classes.
