The Cim-IO Core consists of a set of subroutines that Cim-IO client and server components call in order to communicate with each other. The two components exchange request and reply messages. The Cim-IO Core is "the glue" between Cim-IO clients and Cim-IO servers, and it must reside on all computers running a Cim-IO client or a Cim-IO server. The core is unique and independent from any Cim-IO client or Cim-IO server.
