英语的写作是一个循序渐进的过程，需要老师的引领，学生的坚持。每周一篇英语作文，希望这样的坚持，能让学生再也不感到写英语作文是负担。一起加油哟！

【写作训练】

练习是学习中的一个重要环节，尤其表现在英语学习方面。通过练习，我们可以查漏补缺、拓展知识、提高成绩。但是有人认为，做大量的练习增加负担、浪费时间，使人疲劳……请你围绕九年级学生是否应该做大量的英语练习（English exercises）这一话题展开思路谈谈你的感想。要求：1、请根据所提供的信息材料作文，可适当发挥；2、不少于80词。

【题型分析】

根据题目要求可知，本次写作主要使用一般现在时来讨论九年级学生是否应该做大量的练习这一问题。

【行文思路】

分析题目中所给内容和要求可知，本次写作可以分三部分：第一部分点明练习对于学习英语自己所持的观点（important）；第二部分指出部分学生认为没有必要做大量的练习以及他们的理由（bring much homework, make us feel tired, a waste of time）；第三部分解释自己为什么支持做大量的练习（improve our English day by day）。

【高分点拨】

此次写作不可逐句翻译，在表达自己所持观点时可以适当发挥。写作过程中使用in my opinion, as the saying goes, in short等过渡性短语，可以使文章更流畅。

Do you like English? Is learning English important? Well, how can you learn English? I think the best way is to do more English exercises. （I think the best way to learn English is to do more English exercises.）（问句开头，提醒读者，有创意，用问句很自然地引入正题，表达自己的观点，并且使用了宾语从句，动词不定式作表语，Great! ）。

However（转折词用得好）, some of students think English exercises bring much homework. And they also think English exercises make their feel tired and will cause a waste of time. So they hate doing English exercises. （一个转折词however, 引出了反方的观点。Make后面跟动词原形的的用法很普遍，但是往往学生在写作中使用时错误百出。）Are their thoughts true? （反方的观点对吗？你认同吗？我的观点又是什么呢？显然下文作者会有大篇幅表述正方的观点。）

It’s important for us to do English exercises in my opinion. （句型It’s + adj. + for sb + to do sth .为正方观点的开头真是锦上添花，增添了说服力。 ） As the saying goes, practice makes perfect. （又一句熟能生巧的谚语，组件小作者英语功力的深厚。）If the more time you spend on English, the faster you will learn. （一句话中，既有if 引导的条件状语从句，又有the + 比较级， the + 比较级句型，遵循了英语作文的复合句会成为文章的亮点。） And it not only can make us master reading skills, but also writing skills. （not only…but also 连词用得恰如其分） Then our English will improve day by day. （then 顺理成章得到：由于大量的英语练习，英语逐渐得到提高）

In short, we must practice, practice and practice. （in short 或者 in a word 往往是英语作文总分总格式的最后一段的“总”的引领语，读来自然，为文章添加亮点。）

Doing exercises is very important for our study, especially for English learning.

Some students think exercises will bring us too much homework and make us feel tired, and doing lots of exercises is a waste of time. So they don’t like doing exercises.

In my opinion, as a student of Grade Nine, it is necessary and helpful to do exercises. Let’s take English learning as an example. By doing plenty of exercises and practicing speaking, listening, reading and writing, we can improve our English day by day. As the saying goes, practice makes perfect.
