作者简介 Lt. Jacquelyn R. MacConnell is currently with the Phoenix Police Department where she has been employed since 1994. She learned Spanish as a child, living in Colombia, South America. Becoming a police officer in Phoenix, she quickly learned the advantages of knowing Spanish and created a program for the police department to teach other officers basic street Spanish. Lt. MacConnell has also used her knowledge to create her own security consulting business.
