Started this review to explain why I was awarding 2 stars (IE. "I don't like it."). The reason would have been because the print is so small I had to read s-l-o-w-l-y, and often had to stop to identify what letters I could make out to determine what the word was. This turned a 30 page comic book (that ends in a cliffhanger) into a 40+ minute ordeal. Gosh only knows how someone would be able to read it on a Kindle-size screen.
So why am I awarding 3 stars ("It's OK.")? Because it held my interest.
I got to meet characters I've never heard of, some I think I may have heard about, and many with whom movie goers are already familiar. The dialog was enjoyable vintage comic book-speak - flip, yet informative. That helped me get past feeling I missed a lot - which should have been impossible as this is "#1." The other strong "like" was the graphics. I found myself staring at the artistry & appreciating the detail. And started to wonder if the dialog balloons were so miniscule to allow more space for the art.

Great story line I can't believe that Von Strucker has the infinity gauntlet, can't wait for Alliance 2 to hit the shelves

I bought this for my nephew. He's a big Mavel's fan. I'm happy that he'll be reading more instead of playing on the XBOX

The avenger s must always take on the big opponents. I occasionally prefer the single hero books for this reason. How do you do a good job of covering a war in 6 issues of a comic? Is one picture worth a thousand words,let's watch and see.

Great action and teamwork to attempt to subdue whatever creators come through the rifts...excited to see what happens next as some of our hero's are being overwhelmed to prevent the rifts from being taken over by earthly evils
